Ok so I have been having this problem for a while. I have a Canon Rebel t3i and I love it because it could take good quality pictures that look great on the camera but as soon as I upload them anywhere online they look pixelated. Facebook, Snapfish (my order always comes in the mail pixelated), etc. The only website that works is Flickr but I want to upload the pictures to other websites. I would really appreciate if someone helped me out because this is a problem I have had for a long time.

First question, are you shooting at full resolution? Your owner's manual has details about where that menu is located.

The second thing you need to know is that Flickr, as far as I know, doesn't compress photos. All other sites compress them to save on their hard drive space. Conpression always causes quality loss.

Have you got any examples?

You would have to have a very low resolution for the photos to appear pixelated. How large are the files you get if you check them on a computer? On my T3i, the file size is between about 4MB and 9MB for jpg, maximum size (5184 x 3456 pixels) and lowest compression - depending on the subject matter.

All sites convert to poorer quality. The better the exposure quality of your picture, the higher the chance the uploaded version will look more decent. Your skills in photography will dictate exposure quality.

Another way to work around this is to shoot at maximum megapixels then resize to around 1024p at the longest side. This way, the site won't have to work much to make it smaller and hopefully preserve your pictures quality better.
