New Digital Camera.?

Question

I got a new Digital camera for christmas (its a Samsung S1050).

It does this annoying thing. When i go close up or zoom in, on objects or people, my camera blurs the picture. I have changed the settings so its on maximum sharpness but it doesnt help. I want to take detailed close up pics of things but it allways blurs. The camera is fine when taking normal/long shots.

does anyone know how to change the settings or how to reduce the blurring?

First, READ & STUDY the Owner's Manual for your camera. Then you'll know that it has 3 Macro settings and you can choose the one you want to use.

When you shoot a picture, you might want to make sure that you are correctly focused on the subject. To do this... when you slowly press down on the shutter release button, you should feel that it has a point where it kinda stops and then you can continue going to actually take the picture. Well, if you press the button and hold it at that point where it kinda stops, the camera should auto focus and auto exposure should kick in as well. Some type of an indicator should pop up on the LCD screen. When it's there, you can press the button the rest of the way to take the picture.

Perhaps you are zooming in too close in which case, select the macro feature which allows closeups.
