How much would it cost to have my camera repaired?

I got a Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS 2-3 years ago.
Then one day I fell, with the camera wrapped around my neck, it still usually worked but 2 months later it just stopped working.
And the camera still looks completely new (like there's a scratch on the bottom where it feell, but it just looks like a regular wear and tear scratch)

You usually can't get it to even open up, and even when it opens up, it freezes at the set date screen.

So yeah I was just wondering, since my spare camera I've had for years is pretty much broke due to old age.

A digicam like the Z712 IS is all but considered a disposable product. At 2 yrs. of age its simply isn't worth repairing. Buy a new camera.

Because the price of electronics keeps going down, it probably would cost more to fix it than to buy a new one.

Probably costs as much to repair as to buying a new one.

More than the price of a new one.
