I have the first Sony T camera. I have a 1gig san disk memory stick. This has happened twice so far, that when I put the camera on dock, it does nothing and all the pictures can't even be viewed, on the camera, or through the finder on my mac. I think that all my pictures are earased, but the memory stick is only reading 949.00MB available. can I get these pictures back? Whats wrong?

It's difficult to be certain. I wonder being a slightly earlier camera, if it doesn't like larger cards. A couple of years ago 1 GB cards were pretty much unheard of. As they got larger, some cameras didn't like the newer larger cards. Do you have a smaller card to try out?

If you are importing to iPhoto, it asks if you want delete pictures after importing. Deselect it before importing if that is the case.

Or there may be a setting like that on your camera.

Photo recovery shareware apps.
