Is there anywhere I can I find the Nikon D200 for sale? Not pre-order, but actually buy it?

I hear the new Nikon D200 is scheduled to be shipping during mid to late December - is this true? I'm looking to buy one for a Christmas present, and would love to make sure there is one under the tree. Does anyone know of any retailers (brick and mortar or Internet) who currently have the camera in stock?

Sorry, but sadly not. The latest word is the ship date will be Dec. 15, 2005. So, expect to actually see them very shortly after that.



Be very careful about scammers right now, as Nikon has indicated, NO ONE has one for sale right now, although a lot of people would like to take our money.
