I am looking for one about £100, more of less, can go up to £200, but id like to keep it low.
I want a lens which is at least around 50 - 300 mm, doesnt need to be exact, but around that, which can fit a PENTAX K-30. And second hand would be good as its cheaper.
and also do you know of any good websites where i can buy cheap pentax lenses?
...And no...Not eBay.

Let's start backward in your question. First I hope you get answers for wear ever you live weather internet or retail. Your 100 price is unrealistic. I hope you did not buy into that DSLR cameras are the only camera to own, as this is not true for most amateurs!

First do you want a telephoto lens of say 300mm or a zoom of about 50-300mm? My quick check was that the 50-300mm is much cheaper, than a 300mm Pentax lens, although far away from your price.

If you have "Craigslist" in your area, this would afford you the best way, since you physically can go and see the lens in the 'flesh" sorta speak. If the seller would give you permission to take a few pictures. Then go to a near by store that has one hour processing and get an 11x14 print made, This will tell you in an instant if the lens is worth it. Also a rule of thumb for photographic products is 50% off retail. So if you can buy it for $150-to-$160 you would be getting a great deal! Your f/100 is unrealistic, but if you go to half way up to your top of f/200, you still are saving a lot and getting "bragging rights" in the bargin!

Good luck!

The best of course would be the one from Pentax. If there are two of the same focal length range, the better one is the WR version.

examine your digicam instruction manual on a thank you to alter to (M)anual mode. additionally, there would desire to be slightly on employing older instruction manual lenses in (M)anual mode and the button this is used for metering. Pentax is extremely stable in permitting end down metering in (M)anual mode employing older instruction manual lenses. Their digital line keeps backward compatibility with each and every ok-mount lens ever made. yet another characteristic to study is CIF (seize in concentration). facilitates a instruction manual concentration lens for use in a pseudo automobile concentration mode in that shutter will in trouble-free terms holiday whilst project is shown focused, via digicam. it truly is an extremely reachable function to have whilst employing older lenses. would be used as a photographic catch, this is extremely cool. internet site reported in earlier positioned up has some very knowledgeable human beings there, well worth a flow to to have a sticky question spoke back.
