Need help with photos and cameras!?

Question

I need help,every time when I take pics with my mobile camera,they are gross,I look ugly
My camera on mobile is 2.0 megapixels

So,will I look like me and much more prettier if I buy camera like this:

It is your mobile camera. Forget about the pose, holding angle etc. Adding cameras to cell phones was a gimmick to get people to spend more money on cell phones. The cell cameras arent optical marvels. They use cheap plastic lenses which can cause distortion. Their image sensors are the tiniest you can get. Theyre the digital equivalent of 35mm disposable cameras. They can be convenient lets say if you have a car accident and want a few quick shots of the damage. For any type of serious photos get a dedicated camera.



The Samsung you link to will do far better than your mobile camera.

It isn't the camera. It is the angle you take the photo from. It is the lighting. It is the way you pose and dress.



edit-Okay, let me add that yes, a better camera will give you better results if you take the time to learn to use it. But, it still won't make much difference in how you look in photos especially if you are holding the camera at arm's length to take photos of yourself.

you know that there is not a camera that makes people look pretty, right? will the photos look better? yeah... which in turn might make you SEEM prettier, but it will not make you look any different than what you look like :) but yes, the camera will be much better than your phone camera... phone cameras are generally pretty terrible...
