Can someone give me some recommendations on a digital camera?

I am in the market for a good but inexpensive (under $150.00) digital camera. I want at least 10 mega pixels and preferably more than the 3X optical zoom.

There are so many out on the market now and many by companies that historically have not been in the photographic equipment business that I just don'rt know what to choose.

I have always liked Canon but the canon digitals I looked at appeared to be pretty cheap looking. Olympus has had a pretty good reputation as far as SLR's but a review I read said their digitals were crappy. Nikon looked good but only had the 3X lens.

Any recommendations would be appreciated. Please include model numbers.

I would suggest Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS7 10MP Digital Camera with 4x MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7 inch LCD

To be sure, limit your choices to Canon, Sony and Lumix. They are the most recommended. They're all cheap looking being built mostly from plastic so get the nicest color you like. Get the most expensive model you can afford to have better chances of getting decent looking pictures.

i have been in photography for already 5 years the best digital cameras are canons then nikons then sony's

i would recommend the canon elph powershot the cheapest ! is $200 though a lil expensive but well worth it

I have had a few kodaks they work well and take a great pic
