HELP! How to change video file type default on my camera?!!?! PLEASE help!?

I have a Sony Cybershot camera, really cool with lots of good features. Only thing I hate about it is that the camera had .thm as the video file type default which is so stupid, practically everyone hates that and we all use mp4, avi etc to watch videos

anyways I've been tying to change my cameras settings and I can'ttt figure it out! Can someone please help, I've tried looking through the manual - no help.
And I don't wanna a converter, I just wanna figure out how to change the camera video settings if that's possible for a T99 Cybershot

Please Help

You're a little confused...because a .thm file is NOT the actual video, but simply a thumbnail of your video and is only a few kb in size. They are pretty much useless and can be ignored or deleted.

So, you need to find the correct video file. The Sony T99 records movies in Mpeg4...so, your movies should have an extension of .MOV (or something similar). Look again...

the digital camera 's format is quicktime (mov),and homestead windows movie maker help asf,avi ,wmv yet no mov. so what you extremely choose is only a converter, convert the MOVs to avi ,then you actually can edit it in WMM. i introduce a you a loose application that i'm making use of now.--leawo loose avi converter .

According to a CNET review your camera saves videos as .mp4

hhmmm ... I tried to look it up, and they all said MP4 is what it saves them as. One said go through the menus. That's all I could find.
