I'm debating on which SLR camera I should get. In your opinion which one is better?

Canon 60D is more reliable than the Sony. Check out this review that compares it to Sony:

Canon 60D is a great camera: great stills, amazing video, battery lasts forever.

I found it here at a less price than bestbuy:

Canon makes better cameras than Sony. Canon specializes in cameras and optical devices, where as Sony is an all-round electronics company. This means that Canon has been able to perfect their cameras more than Sony. I personally own both a Sony and a Canon camera. Sony is not bad, but Canon is a lot better.

Buy the Canon 60D. It's a better camera and buying accessories and lenses for it will be more affordable because there are more options with Canon cameras than with Sony cameras.

Cannon slr cameras are the best but it really depends on the len's because that's what makes a camra more expensive. But one thing you should have in your camra is that it's to have sd card slot. Because after you keep using the USB technique it stops working. So you may want to check if you have a Ed card slot on your pc/laptop. Or on your printer. If not you may want to get an sd card adapter. To get pictures onto ur pc. But every camera seems to have this problem. Hope this helps and good luck with your new camera. :D!!!!!!!!

If you don't know the difference between a dSLR and an SLT then any will do. Technically however the 60D is much more powerful. For videos, the 2-digit alpha may have a slight edge.

I'd go for the canon because they have better quality lenses, larger 3rd party support, and a stronger foothold in the camera industry

None of those.... You should get the canon rebel t2i or the canon 5D
