tried installing magic lantern using a step by step tutorial. when i put my SD card into my camera the LED began to blink multiple times, on the ML page it mentioned if that happens i need to update my cameras firmware and to turn of the camera and remove the battery, just in case, which is what i did, then i put my SD card into my computer, delete the ML files from the SD card manually put it back into the camera, then i flip the on switch, the LED blinks once and then nothing happens, doesnt start up, the only thing ive tried is taking out the battery and putting it back again, please help.

Well imagine that. For years we regulars here have been talking about this firmware. For years I've been warning people that it shows right on the magic lantern site Warning: Your camera may not operate after you install this firmware.

Well you're stuck. Now you'll have to contact Canon about sending the camera to them to get the original firmware re-installed and what ever you have on it taken off or have a professional digital photo shop do it if they're Canon authorized.

It's going to cost you so get an estimate and talk with Canon. Next time, just leave the camera's firmware alone.

I don't see what the problem is, considering that the firmware hack is only 1 of literally a million things that can go wrong with any one of the the camera products. I use the latest nightly build on my t3i that I just got

I have had the exact same "it doesn't turn on" problem with a friends T2i WITHOUT Magic Lantern installed. The camera didn't turn on for a while- its a Canon hardware problem and not always an issue with ML.

You can play it safe, nothing lasts forever but in the mean time I'm getting maximum value from my purchase.
