You don't say what your operating system is, but I will assume its a version of Windows. With XP, once you plug your camera into the computer, the Windows picture transfer wizard will come up and ask you which pictures you want to transfer and where you want them to go. It should give you the option deleting them from our camera or leaving them on there.
Or, you could just use Windows' Explorer to copy the pictures from you camera into what ever folder you choose, just like copying any file from one location to another on your hard drive. You see, once your computer recognizes your camera, it will give it a hard drive name (like D: or E:), then you can explore it just like your C: drive. It is pretty easy.

It seems you are missing one of the major components of digital photography, namely the computer. Your L810 does not have WiFi and if it did it may be problematic trying to connect it to your iPhone. Your best option would be to visit your local library and using their computer copy your image files to a USB flash card from your camera. Then send an email to your iPhone. If the library computer does not have accessible USB ports, you will have to borrow one of your friends computers.

If you are using XP, picture wizzard copy your pictures from your card to whatever files you tell it too. Once completed it will ASK you if you want them deleted, simply DONT check the box to delete and they will remain on your card.

your imaging software should just transfer them straight into the program. have you synced your camera with the software on your puter? there should also be a menu button where it says to import (imaging software-probably under file menu).
