I'm going to 2 one direction concerts in August and I want a good camera that isn't too expensive that takes hd pics and maybe videos because last time was a total disaster. my atrix hd phone died but I had my iPod 4 and it took pictures but not the best. I have an iPhone 4 now but the pictures aren't great either. also not a big camera that security would notice. thank you!

Well there's no such thing as an HD picture. HD is a term applied only to video and television.

Phone and pod cameras are well known world wide as pure junk so I'm not surprised you were disappointed in the results.

"Big camera?" I'm assuming you mean a dslr. You'd not get in the door with a dslr because they are considered professional cameras (they're not of course, but they're considered so) and because of copyright laws... well you get the point.

Actually any modern point and shoot camera will do what you want. Check Wal Mart, they've a pretty good selection.

What do you mean by HD picture? like really.. 1920x1080 is considered HD but that's the equivalent of 2.1 megapixels which is far less than any phone's resolution so any camera you could possibly buy will take HD pictures as far as you're concerned.. if you don't get a DSLR the low light nature of the venue will cause your images to have significant noise whichever one you get unless you get a mirrorless one for about £800

Panasonic LX7.

The zoom range is not great, but your aperture range of f1.4 at 24mm to f2.3 at 90mm will make it possible to get not-bad results in lighting that makes the images from many compacts look like crap. You are not going to be able to duplicate the results of the professionals on contract with the event managers, so don't waste your time trying.
