Good (but affordable) Digital Cameras!?

Question

Does anybody know of a digital camera that is of good quality but still affordable? (No five megapixles, please)
If it is around 8-10+ megapixles that would be great!
Also, if it is $100-$175 i would be so grateful.
I don't need anything fancy, like a photographer's. I'm 13 and the camera is going to be taking mostly pics of me and my friends. But i really don't want to have to buy another one anytime soon, so it has to be good. And the pics have to come out looking good, of course. :) I really want to take a lot of pics of my summer...

I bought a Concord 5063 AF 5 mega-pix for something under a $100 on sale. I think it was at Circuit City. You can check their website for more info. I've had mine for a while and I like it. The only complaint I have is the battery cover likes to come off some times if I'm not careful. Actually I solved that problem by folding up some tin foil and placing it under the lid to give it a snugger fit.

Chatterbox, I highly recommend the Cannon Powershot A470. It is now available at Amazon.com with a free 2GB memory card. I have a camera in this series, and I love it. With the 2GB card you can shoot about 400 pics in 8x10 size. It has 7 MP and enough extras to let you do just about anything that you want to do.

He tenido buenas experiencia con los productos de sitios web, había comprados cámara muy buenas a un precio muy bueno, como viajo mucho he comprado y una cámara para el coche porque nunca se sabe cuando la necesitas, la cámara va perfectamente, buena resolución y un buen ángulo, aunque a lo mejor no me haga falta, a este precio es mejor tenerla porque es muy utilla.
