Does Sony Cyber Shot DSC H400 have an external audio input/jack?

Hi Friends, i recently bought Sony Cyber Shot DSC H400 camera. When i check the feature and review online, some sites and reviewer said an external audio jack/input is there, but some other web/reviewer said it's not available. When i check my camera, i haven't seen any which would be an audio input. Can someone enlighten me which one is true, and in case if that external audio input is not there, what other option are there to record live video? Thanks for your time.

No, it does not have an external mic jack. The jacks are behind rubber flippy flap cover on the side of the camera. Behind the cover is an A/V OUT and USB plug, but no A/V in.



You'll need to return it and get something that best suits your needs, such as a camcorder. I really don't understand why people want to use a still camera for video when you can spend less and get such a superior tool like a camcorder to do the job.

The Cybershot is Sony's point-and-shoot digital camera line-up. I doubt any of the models have mic input.
