IP wireless camera limitation?

I am wondering which brand and model of IP wireless camera can recognize suspect's FACE, I found that most of IP wireless camera can not do this kind of thing, even the resolution over 1280 x 1024 pix

IP cameras use cheap hardware and usually transmit at VGA resolutions only. Anything higher is extrapolated.



If you want to capture better images, provide more light to the area covered by the camera.

Facial recognition requires much more than just a high resolution camera. It requires a computer that is analyzing the images, and a data base of known faces. I don't know of any commercially available system like that -- that is available to the public or even affordable by the public.

NO camera can. You would need a massive computer program on a VERY powerful machine, and a whole database of possible face images to compare with.
