Buying camera lenses Fuji Finepix S700? (DSLR)?

I'm thinking of buying both macro and aperture(??) lenses, andI have no idea on how to start. I found some on ebay, but how do I know what's really compatible and what's not? (I'm assuming that Fuji will be best for my camera.)

Also, this weekend I'm going into the city and hopefully I'll pass by the B&H electronics store to see what more I can find. Lastly, can anyone recommend websites that have lenses available for my camera type? Apparently the fuji website does not have any. :/

thanks!

The Fujifilm Finepix S700 is not quite a SLR. I've actually have owned that same camera. Before i dropped it in a lake. It's a high-end point-and-shoot camera. It's an SLR Style camera. The lens is fixed, which means it is non-removable. The aperture goes to 2.8f. it has excellent quality. You can attach a 46mm filter to the lens. I would definitely recommend this camera to someone, since i owned it before. The zoom goes to 10x (i have an Olympus SP-590uz camera which is a high end camera, but not quite an slr) it has 26x optical zoom. some very useful modes that i use all the time. The lens is still fixed, so you can't remove it. You can't attach a filter on the lens. And the lenscap pops off a little too easily. 2.8fstop. but on the down side, as with most ultra zooms, the image quality is noisy. I would recommend this camera.

It has a HDMI port.

I'd definately say either of the Fuji Finepix cameras. I have a Finepix camera and they record good videos with sound. My camera also takes really good pictures. I'd also say that the Finepix cameras are reallly easy to learn... they have the basic buttons as any other camera would. Some accesories you could buy for it are maybe a bigger camera card, camera case? Most of the accesories comes with it.

A Fuji S700 is NOT a DSLR. You cannot change lenses, what you have is all there is. It is a superzoom point and shoot, no matter what the salesman told you.

You can add screw-on wide angle or telephoto adapter lenses, but they are generally a waste of time and money.
