I have a fujifilm A170 digital camera and everytime I buy batteries for it, they waste in less than 10 mins! Does anyone know a brand of AA batteries that'll last abit longer?

Lithium rechargable. Really good quality ones might help, not a 3.99 brand. Is your camera still under guarantee? Fuji claim this to be a low power consumption camera so this shouldn't happen. It used to happen a lot in older cameras but this problem was mostly ironed out. Most modern mid range budget cameras last for several days at least with a good quality battery, such as Duracell.

I also have a fujifilm camera. I use it with Rechargeable batteries. Use the 2500 mHa, and get good results. My camera uses 4 AA Bats, so I have an extra set (recharged) and replace it when the camera needs it. Works well.

DO NOT use Lithium-ion Rechargeable batteries. They are too high of a voltage for your camera and may damage it.

They are 3.6V whereas you want 1.5V batteries.

You can usually use Alkaline or Lithium NON-RECHARGEABLE batteries (Lithium Iron Disulfide) which are both 1.5V.

Or you can use NiMH rechargeable, which are 1.25V, but will work OK.

A good brand for Alkaline is Duracell CopperTop.

A good brand for Lithium is Energizer Lithium.

A good brand for NiMH rechargeable is Sanyo Eneloop.

Your camera is broken when it uses batteries that fast.
