I have purchased a 35mm Film Camera and was wondering if instead of these being developed on Film I would prefer these on CD. Is this possible?

Yes, but ask for high resolution scans onto DVD.
You could shoot transparencies and buy your own film scanner so that you only keep the best of the bunch.
See the one in the link.

Sort of.
Actually, you have the film developed, scanned then saved to a CD.
Developing is the chemical process of fixing the picture on the film. Printing is to make a copy of the film image on paper. Scanning is to copy the image on film to the computer. Saving or copying the images from the computer to a CD or DVD is done by burning. There, now you know it all!

Yes, ask the processing lab to give you a photo CD, you can still get prints as well.
@ the thumbs...answered the question - Barry would get a satisfactory outcome - and Keerok's answer is 100% - I didn't see a need to be 'technical' - I just can't grasp the Thumbs...Sorry people..!

Yes, CVS throws in the CD at no extra cost. You can have both if you want.

yes, you'll porbably have to pay about £2 extra for a CD but its worth it if you want to put the photos online and saves the hastle of scanning!
