Simply bring the camera to Target and let them figure it out.

Sony used their own propriety memory card a few years back. Propriety almost always means expensive. They were called memory sticks (Pro Duo) and were not compatible with SD cards. Recently, Sony softened a little and adopted the SD memory card. Today you will see a mix of Pro Duo only Sony cameras, cameras that use both Pro Duo and SD, and SD only cameras.

Just know that all memory cards (SD and SDHC) are good as long as you buy them from a reputable store. There are too many fakes out there nowadays. Then, also know that SD is different from SDHC. If your camera uses SD, buy SD only. If it uses SDHC, you can use SD also. Do not buy a micro SD and use an adapter for the camera. In theory that would work. In reality, not. For pictures, 4GB is more than enough. IF your camera can do HD video, the best is Class 10.

So why a long answer? That's because I'm too lazy to search for the actual memory card your Sony Cybershot DSC200 20.1MP camera uses so I gave you everything I know instead. All it takes is that Search box at the top of this page.

A good start might be to read what sort of cards from the Instruction manual

OR Read the write up on line to find out which cards it takes.

OR Take the camera into the shop and ask them.

As seen here

http://www.dpreview.com/products/sony/compacts/sony_dsch200/specifications

Storage types SD/SDHC/SDXC/Memory Stick Duo/Memory Stick Pro Duo, Memory Stick Pro-HG Duo

I'm not sure why they bother including a slot for the old Memory Stick Duo line. Maybe to keep it alive to keep some older Sony customers happy. You can use the SDHC cards you will find in target.

I would not have high hopes for image quality. Cramming 20MP into a little 1/2.3" sensor seems like a recipe for smudgy noise reduction artifact.

Depends on your use. If you are going to download all your pix a 4GB card is all you need. You can get bigger is you are going to keep your pix on your camera (not recommended).

Next is the speed of the card, known as Class. If you are doing just plain video (640x480 or VGA), any card will do, they are sometimes called Class 4. For HD, get Class 6, for full HD get Class 10.
