Decent canon camera for $400-$450 tops?

I want a good canon camera (u no,the old style ones with long lens and etc) just for leisure and pure pleasure. my price range is 400-450 tops. Any suggestions?????

Hace a look at the Canon EOS Rebel XS 10.1MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II Lens (Black) it sells at around $450 its got a good spec. Its easy to use but very fast and powerful.

Get the Canon EOS Rebel XS if you want DSLR (doesn't offer much zoom - 3x), if you want a point and shoot, get the Canon Powershot SX30.
