My pictures are very dear to me as they are to everybody. I saw a suggestion for using photo rescue but it didn't recover my 3 missing pictures. Does anybody have any more suggestions for me.

Since you're only missing a few, recommend MiniTool photo recovery software. It's freeware for under 1GB of recovery.

To recover missing pictures on sd card, you can get a card reader and hook SD card to computer. If your computer have card reader slot, even better, just put the memory card in. Then download this asoftech data recovery software which will scan the memory card and then recover any lost files from the SD card, including deleted photos, video, songs, document files, and lost files after SD card reformat.

First of all, do not save any new file to camera's memory card.

Take out memory card, and connect it to computer using a card reader. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.

Download this photo recovery software

Install and open the photo recovery program, select the memory card, and click 'Start' button.

Did someone delete these for you? Maybe didn't like what you took? If they were deleted and then you took some more pix, they are gone forever.
