Every time I take a picture, the flash comes on. Ruins the picture every time. How do I turn the flash off?

You don't. The Snap is not designed to allow the user control over the flash.
Your only option is to put a piece of electrical tape over the flash, but will likely result in dark images.
Sounds like the Polaroid Snap is not the right camera for your needs.

IF it can be turned off, it will certainly say so in the owner's manual. Why not try reading it? While the flash certainly does not add elegance to a shot, if the ambient light is not enough for the camera to achieve proper exposure, then the flash will fire. The camera is very "low tech", meaning it does not have the capability to set a slow enough shutter speed / large enough aperture to get exposure in dim conditions.
If you are wanting a camera with more control and capabilities, you are going to have to look elsewhere than what you have.

As a test put some tape over the flash. Black tape to block all light. Thin or white tape to allow just a bit of flash - called fill flash.

As your manual says, "Your camera will automatically flash and auto
focus for every photo." So I guess you can't turn it off. One thing you can do then is to step back (try 2) to lessen the effect of the flash.

lf you'd trouble yourself to read the manual, you would know that "Your camera will automatically flash and auto
focus for every photo."
