I have a canon sx230 camera with 8 GB Kodak 200x (Full HD) memory card
after deleting files or move them to HDD by camera or card reader it disappears..but then it comes back when i put it again in camera or card reader
the windows and camera formatting tools can't formatted it.
the camera can't make more shots and when I take a pic or movie it turns off and says memory card error
the camera works with any other cards very well
I tried to copy some files by pc on sd card
just 5 GB copied and then when I removed the card and insert it again in card reader the copied files was disappeared and those old pics again were there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I used the sd card formatter program but it says that the memory is write protected bu it is not
now what should I do??????????????

All cards above 4GB are SDHC format. Is your camera and laptop / card reader SDHC Compatible? Check if the card can be formatted in any friend's machine / camera. Also when you copy files into computer, do you use the option "Safely remove USB Device" ? If not, the files are not copied into the card and gets corrupted since they are stored in a buffer area.
