I don't think anyone understood or answered my question, so I'm reposting it.

(Please note the link is only to show that the site actually has these, just in case no one believes me.) Hi!

Long story short, I've been looking around for instant cameras. (Literally everywhere.) I've checked best buy, walmart, amazon, etc.

On amazon I saw they were selling the Polaroid PIC-300P (http://www.amazon.ca/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=polaroid+film&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Apolaroid+film). for 70 dollars.

Then, I saw they were selling film from the company "Fujifilm". From what I have heard, polaroid is no longer making film. Therefore film from there is expired.

Is it possible to purchase the fujifilm and have it work on the Polaroid PIC-300P?

Please help me if you can, your opinion is very much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Monsemania,

This is a very common question only many people are not even aware that Polaroid stopped making film so congrats on knowing that!

The Polaroid PIC 300 is nothing more than a relabeled and overpriced Fuji Instax 7s. And the Polaroid 300 film it takes is nothing more than relabeled and overpriced Fuji Instax Mini film.

Polaroid still does not make film and the 300 film is not expired. It's all just made by Fuji.

I recommend going to BHPhoto.com and typing Instax in the search box for available products.

The Fuji Instax 90 is the nicest instant film camera out there today and takes Instax Mini film. This is a pretty expensive camera too, costing nearly $200.

The cheapest Instax camera costs about $60 and is the Mini 7s. There are several models in between the 90 and 7s, The 8 is very popular.

Then there is the Fuji Instax 210 which takes a larger film and the camera is also larger but it only costs $50.

If you're in a pinch, many local Target and Best Buy locations sell Polaroid 300 film, so you can use this in your Instax Mini camera if you want. It's just a lot more expensive than if you buy Instax film at BHPhoto.com.

Enjoy!

So to be clear, the Polaroid PIC 300 camera can take Fuji Instax Mini film.
