usually when you get that message the video that you are trying to import isn't compatible with windows movie maker. Also, the problem may be is that you are supposed click the import button on movies maker instead of draggingg it from something else. When you click the import button it will take you to a menu and you can choose if you want to imporrt a document, picture, video, ect. I hope that this helps you!

Oh, adult males, mp4 is a media field which may be encoded with many different formats, so residing house windows action picture maker merely helps some specific mp4 video documents, as i be conscious of, WMM helps wmv or mpeg2 video clips properly, no longer avi, so for you to use a right application to transform mp4 video clips to the fabulous wmv or mpeg2 video clips for WMM. i'm utilising RZ Video Converter which could convert any video clips or audios between different formats with sturdy high quality, including convert mp4 video clips to the fabulous wmv or mpeg2 video clips for WMM, etc. Yahoo or google seek and get carry of RZ Video Converter, desire it could enable you.
