i have a 8mb SD memory card?

how many photos will fit on it, estimated?? i only use 1 gigs but this 8mb was given to me! i plan on using the 8mb on a old digital camera, HP photosmart 435 digital camera (3.1 MP and has a 5 x zoom capability)

do you mean 8gb or 8mb

8gb will take a lot of pics while 8mb will barely take 10pics

It all depends on the size of the file. A larger file will eat up the memory card faster than smaller files will. But an 8mb card on a 3.1 mega pixel camera...Well, somewhere like 20,000 images. If you mean 8mb, then this will be substantially lower. At the most, maybe 20, but probably more like 10.



I get 6.2 thousand on the lowest setting on my 6 mega pixel DSLR. I'm using a 2 gig card.



I'm sorry, at first I thought you were talking about 8 gigs, not 8 mbs. I got confused. I've never heard of 8mbs, unless it was maybe the in camera memory. Sorry for any confusion.
