i can't find my digital camera anywhere. i brought it to school one day and i used it on the way home on the bus. after that i couldn't find it. i know i put it in my backpack but the next morning it wasn't there. my busdriver probably would have said something if i left it on the bus unless if he is a jerk and took it without announcing about a lost camera. i need my camera for a field trip on thursday so idk what to do. i looked everywhere in the house and my mom doesn't know that i take it to school so if i told her i lost it i would be dead. help plz

i would ask ur busdriver. he may or may not be honest about it. also check ur backpack and check by your bus stop. it might have fell out of your backpack. look everywhere in your house.

good luck!!

and have fun on your field trip. if you cant find ur camera i would buy a disposable one for ur trip. ;)

You won't be dead if you tell your mom. Adults lose things too. You need to be mature and honest--it shows that you're growing, because you have the strength to deal with any mistakes, problems, or life's other challenges.

Here's my suggestions:

1) first, make sure that it isn't in your backpack or under your bed or that mom didn't just take it out the night before. Ask your friends--maybe one of them borrowed it or took it out of your backpack..

2) if you can't find it, then you need to tell your mom. Be honest. Be genuinely sorry. Remember that it isn't the end of the world and that your mom will still love you, even if you lost something.

3) now comes the hard part: asking for a replacement. My suggestion--if money is a problem, for now, just get a disposable film camera for the trip. As for an affordable replacement, try the Canon A570 IS. Not as small as you might like, but it's a good camera.

It's lost . . . sorry. You will need to get another camera. I suggest getting a disposable for the trip. You can have the pics put on CD if you need digital ones.

I know how you feel. I hate losing stuff like that.

You shouldn't have brought it in the first place. But I suggest you "trace your footsteps." Maybe you didn't put it in your bag. Just try and find it on your own. And the reason why you maybe lost it is because first of all, I noticed that when someone does something behind a parents/guardians back, something goes wrong.
